Tax lien investing
Paying delinquent
taxes as an investment?
Tax lien investing
The Tax Lien Sale is the payment of
delinquent secured property taxes by an investor. The tax lien
on the property is sold in open, competitive bidding to the
investor bidding the lowest rate of interest. You are not
purchasing property but a tax lien against the property. A tax
lien does not allow you any rights to the property. You may not
trespass or build on the property. You are taking a lender
risk, but have security against the property.
